Here are the main functions:
- Distance, flight time, and estimated fuel computation based on parameters such as Mach number or TAS, wind component, ISA deviation, and distance factor to adjust great circle distance.
Aircraft Profiles allow you to create and manage profiles by specifying fuel usage depending on distance flown, structural weight limitations, and ACN/PCN values. These profiles can be shared easily via Airdrop, email, WhatsApp, Wechat, or Dropbox. Sample aircraft profiles with detailed instructions are available within the application.
The Alternate Airports Finder feature sorts airports by ascending distance from the destination airport according to criteria like distance from destination, minimum runway length, paved runways availability, whether it's an airport of entry, and including military airports.
The Plotting Map feature enables users to plot great circle routes between airports and ETP circles based on a specific radius. Additionally, users can view all airports around a selected point on the map for easy selection of ETP airports based on parameters like runway length and type, proximity to destination, and the inclusion of military airports.
The Airports Database allows searching based on ICAO code, IATA code, airport name, or city name.
The Fuel Uplift Module assists in calculating fuel quantities required based on aircraft limitations or a "Free mode." Users can store aircraft limitations in the database for easy reference when calculating fuel uplift requirements based on weight or volume measurements.
The ACN/PCN module decodes PCN numbers and displays detailed information. ACN values are computed based on aircraft weight and can be set through aircraft profiles.
The SNOWTAM Decoding feature supports METAR format decoding of SNOWTAM reports providing full decoding along with crosswind and headwind/tailwind components related to runways.
Users can access weather information and airport details such as METAR and TAF reports for favorite airports. For enhanced decision-making, Flight Ops displays runways with crosswind and headwind/tailwind components based on current wind conditions.
The Distance Calculator calculates the distance and true bearing between two latitudes/longitudes waypoints.
Last Minute Change functionality computes updated Weight & Balance Load Sheet data allowing users to adjust payload configurations quickly by adding or removing passengers and cargo. Flight Ops provides revised weights and centers of gravity for ZFW (Zero Fuel Weight), TOW (Takeoff Weight), and LDW (Landing Weight) based on these changes.
